What we collect, why, and who else sees it.
This page explains what we collect when you use this site, why we collect it, and who else sees it. We ask for as little as we can.
What we collect
When you order: your name, phone number, delivery address, and your email address if you give one. Made-to-order pieces also mean the measurements you provide.
When you pay by transfer: the receipt you upload, together with the name on the account and the date of transfer.
When you subscribe: your email address, and your name if you give it.
When you browse: pages viewed, roughly where in the world you are, and how you arrived at the site.
We never see or store your card details. We do not take card payments on this site.
Why we collect it
To take and deliver your order, to verify payment, to answer you when you contact us, to keep our own accounting records, and to understand which pieces people are interested in. We send marketing email only to people who asked for it.
Who else sees it
Couriers receive your name, address and phone number, because they cannot deliver without them.
Our bank sees the transfer you make, in the ordinary way.
Our hosting provider stores the site and its database on our behalf.
Analytics and advertising services — where enabled, Google Analytics, Meta and TikTok receive information about visits to this site through their measurement tags, including which pages were seen and whether an order was placed. This is how we know whether our advertising is working.
We do not sell your information to anyone.
Cookies
The site uses a small number of cookies to keep your bag and your chosen region between pages. Where analytics or advertising tags are enabled, those services set their own cookies. You can block cookies in your browser, though your bag may not survive between pages if you do.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept while we may need them for accounting and for handling any later query. Visit statistics are kept for a limited period and then removed automatically. Mailing list entries are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by writing to our contact email address. We may need to keep order records where the law requires it. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing is honoured immediately.
Children
This site is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update this page. Please check it from time to time.
